Development Updates for March 2013

The Division of Sponsored Programs (DSP) Team worked on planning for the Data Project.  This project will consolidate the interface for several different systems.  This will simplify the use of the applications for the Division of Sponsored Programs and reduce system maintenance & support.  The team has collected requirements and are working on refining the work by breaking it into smaller pieces. Development updates for February 2013

The Division of Sponsored Programs team released the non-monetary routing form on February 16th and we are really excited to have it finally in use. This new routing form allows the research community to submit non-monetary forms via our UIRIS3 application the same way the current proposal routing form is submitted. It replaces the old non-monetary form we had in UIRIS2, which did not allow for electronic routing.  With this functionality in place, all departmental and collegiate approvals can be done online. Development Updates for January 2013

The Compliance Team released the 2013 version of the eCOI Entity and Annual Certification forms.  These forms must be completed by most hospital staff and campus researchers yearly.  One improvement to the eCOI system is that users can copy and edit their 2012 reports reducing the amount of data entry required. The Division of Sponsored Programs Team is doing the final testing and preparations for Phase 1 of the non-monetary routing form. User acceptance testing is proceeding.  The work is on track for the implementation in mid-February 2013.   Read More...

The Compliance Team worked on Phase 2 development for the new eIACUC project. In Phase 2, users will complete the Demographic portion of the form. Users will be able to attach the remainder of the protocol form and submit to the IACUC office. The Compliance Team also worked on preparing the eCOI system for release of the 2013 version of the eCOI Entity Report and Annual Certification forms for implementation on Feb. 1. Read More...
